- Cash receipts vs. forecast
Leading Indicators (Shared)
- SQL volume trend (week-over-week)
- Win rate trend (rolling 4 weeks)
- Average contract value trend
- Deal slip rate (deals pushed to next quarter)
Risk Flags (Joint Review)
- At-risk renewals (value + count)
- Deals >20% discounted requiring review
- Forecast variance >10% (up or down)
- Operational blockers (data, systems, process)
Implementation Tips
- Start simple: Don't try to track everything. Pick 3-5 metrics per section.
- Automate data pull: Use your BI tool or data warehouse to populate weekly.
- Make it visual: Red/yellow/green indicators for quick pattern recognition.
- Focus on action: End each review with 1-3 concrete next steps.
